I hope the information below about my practice, services, and professional credentials will help you decide if your specific goal and my professional expertise are a good match – otherwise, I can provide a referral.
I received my Doctor of Psychology degree from Pepperdine University (1996), as well as a Masters in Marriage and Family Therapy (1992) and enjoy working with, adults, couples, and teens. I was fortunate to receive extensive training in Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy during my doctoral studies, APA approved Internship, and Post-Doctoral Fellowship.
My clinical, research, and special interests have been associated with Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy and Anxiety/Stress Management, allowing me to offer cutting-edge Anxiety treatment. As a doctoral candidate, I was honored to be selected by Joseph Wolpe, M.D. (“Father of Behavior Therapy”), for a three-year individual clinical mentorship in the Anxiety Disorders, and was also mentored by David N. Elkins, Ph.D. (Professor Emeritus, Pepperdine University, Saybrook Institute). In addition, I have been recognized for my clinical and leadership contributions to the profession. For specifics, see curriculum vitae or LinkedIn.
I also offer consultation and clinical supervision to psychotherapists, healthcare providers, and organizations which have included “Staying United”, IDS, Inc., The County of Orange, and the entertainment industry.
